出国留学申请不是想就可以的，一定要满足条件才行，出国留学需要什么条件?以美国为例，我们主要分为一下四点讨论：
　　第一，要想申请美国本科，高中毕业证书是必不可少的。美国大学不会接受一名连高中都未毕业的学生，除非是极其特殊的情况。高中毕业证书必须有英文对照翻译，并有国家公证处的公证章印才会有效。
　　第二，经济担保是很重要的一条。经济担保的目的是为了向美国大学及政府证明，此学生有足够的经济来源供在美国留学。经济担保只须证明有足够的支付大学第一年的费用即可，而不是整个大学四年。经济担保的方式有多种，最普遍的如银行存款证明及奖学金助学金等等。不少人忽略了工资收入证明和房产证明，其实它们也是很重要的经济担保。尽管证明的工资收入也许不是很大数额，但对美方的印象却是你有固定收入，而不是从事今天赚一千明天赔一万的那种风险性大的职业。尽管不少学生的家长是生意人，可是他们还是有一定的固定收入的。房产证明主要是向美方表明，我的家是在中国而不是美国。而且，学生的父母已经有能力购房了，那么为什么不能送孩子出国读书呢?在办理存款证明时，要注意一点，那就是美方一般要求的是申请人之前六个月的账户历史。他们这样做是为了避免那些没有经济能力的人，在申请前靠借钱充数。
　　第三，一篇精彩而又真实的自荐信是至关重要的。美国很多高等学府都要求申请者写自荐信，如果你和另一位申请者的条件一样，但是你多写了一封自荐信，那么校方自然了解你更多一点。也许就是因为多那么一点努力，校方十有八、九会选你而不是其他人。自荐信一般为300个英文单词左右。自荐信如果太长了，别人读起来觉得很麻烦;太短了，又不能起到让学校了解你的作用。
　　自荐信一般分三段。第一段介绍学生本人的情况。如兴趣爱好、体育水平、艺术上的造诣等学习成绩以外的别人可能不具备的东西。学习成绩可以用两三句话写完那是最好的，因为校方还可以从学生的成绩单上慢慢审察。第二段，向校方阐明自己申报该校的原因和目的。因为校方想知道该学生为什么选择这所学校，从而判定这所学校是否适合该学生，校方也想向学生负责。如果一名学生在报考佛罗里达大学的自荐信中，所提到的报考主要原因是为了享受佛州的沙滩和阳光的话，那么校方也许会认为在沙滩边上的迈亚密大学会更适合该学生。第三段，学生应向校方重申和加重其希望在该校学习的愿望，并留下最直接最简单的联繁方式。很多名牌大学每年都有一到两万名学生报名申请，他们可没有那么多时间慢慢找一个学生的联系方式，所以，以防万一同时也为方便校方，学生可以在多处留下自己的联系方式。
　　第四样文件是推荐信。研究生报考美国大学，推荐信是必须的，而本科生则是要看各学校的不同要求。与写自荐信道理一样，如一名申请者有老师或工作单位推荐，自然比那些没有推荐的申请者更引人注意一些。
